Disabled Parking
From November 7th 2011 Blue Badge Holders will be charged to park on all Nuneaton and Bedworth Pay and Display and Pay on Foot Car Parks. See tariff charging boards and below for prices.
If you are a car park user and hold a Blue Badge, you will get one hours free parking with every parking session purchased subject to at east one hours parking being purchased.
For example if you buy a ticket for two hours you can park free of charge for one additional hour.
- For Pay and Display Car Parks: The free additional hour extends beyond the expiry time shown on the ticket.
- For Pay on Foot Car Parks: Please take your entry ticket together with your Blue Badge to the office at the car park to receive one hour of additional free parking.
Scheme for Blue Badge Holders unable to use the Payment Machines
If you are a blue badge holder travelling alone and unable to use the wheelchair height payment machines because of your disability, this scheme will allow you to park at any of our car parks without having to display a ticket.
A valid blue badge and time clock must be clearly visible in your vehicle and within two working days you will need to provide Parking Services with details of your stay in order for us to invoice you.
To register, please tell us your vehicle registration and billing address either by calling Parking Services 02476376434/568 (9am – 5pm Monday – Friday) or e-mailing the details to parking@nuneatonandbedworth.gov.uk
Blue Badge Holder Season Ticket
For regular visitors to the town or those who prefer to pay for parking in advance, a Blue Badge Season Ticket is available that has been substantially discounted. (CANNOT be used at Riverside Car Park)
