Make Your Mark, Use Your Vote

Make Your Mark, Use Your Vote
Nuneaton and Bedworth residents are being urged to make sure they use their vote on Thursday.

This week's election is a chance for people to vote for the person who will be their County Councillor for the next four years, and for members of the European Parliament who will represent the West Midlands.

Polling cards have already been issued to all residents who are eligible to vote, and preparations are underway to accept the votes from 7am on Thursday morning.

Two residents who will be using their vote this week are Veronica Grant from Bedworth and Lesley Freeman from Exhall.

Veronica said:

“For me if I don’t vote, it means I have lost my chance to have a say about how services are provided in my area, the services my Council tax pays for.”

Lesley added:

“It’s always been important in my family that we use our vote, after all, if you don’t vote you can’t make things better.”

Results will be posted on both Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council’s and Warwickshire County Council’s websites following the count on Friday 5 June.  The European election results will be available on the morning of Monday 8 June on Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council’s website.
