Communities Fund 2010

The Communities Fund 2010 is now open for applications that will help in improving the quality of life of communities across Nuneaton and Bedworth. This is a Joint funding scheme between Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council.
The total fund available is £60,000 and the money is there to allow community and voluntary groups within Nuneaton and Bedworth to deliver projects that will benefit and improve the well-being of the local community.
Grants up to £5,000 will be awarded to successful projects. These projects can cover a range of ideas; from improving community land, starting environmental projects, supporting young and/or old people, or providing help and advice to vulnerable people.
Standard application forms can be obtained from Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council’s communities team. These need to be completed by the person who will manage the project and ensure its delivery. Completed application forms need to be returned by Wednesday 10 March 2010.
