Cash Offices Closing

As more and more residents are choosing to pay their bills through direct debit, online or via debit card, less and less are using the cash office service run by the Council.  With consideration to this and the cost of running the service, the cash offices at Nuneaton and Bedworth will close for good at the end of September.

• Pay online by visiting our website Click on ‘Payments Online’, and then follow the on-screen instructions.  At least four working days should be allowed for the payment to be processed.
  
  
• Debit or credit card payments can be made over the telephone via our dedicated hotline.  Residents can call (024) 7637 6172 with their card and bill reference number to hand.  An administration fee will be charged when using a credit card.
  
  
• Cheques or postal orders can be sent to us by post.  Cheques should be made payable to “Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council” and senders should quote their name, address and bill reference number with their payment.  Sufficient time should be allowed to ensure payment reaches us by the due date.
  
  
• Standing Order at your bank – residents simply quote our bank account details: Sort Code 54-21-13 and Account Number 56580762, and include their bill reference number.
  
  
• Payment can be made at Payzone outlets by using a swipe card.  These payments must be made in cash.  At least five working days should be allowed for payment to reach us.
  
  
• If anyone wishes to pay by Direct Debit they can contact us for a form, fill it in and then return it to us.  Payments will be taken on either 1st or 16th of the month.
  
  
• Bills can also be paid at any Post Office – residents need to have their Council Tax swipe card with them and remember to allow at least four working days for payment to reach us.  If anyone requires a swipe card they can give us a call on 024 7637 6376 or call into the Council offices.
