Breakaway bookings to start next week

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council Crest
Children need no longer be bored over the Summer holidays as Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council are set to launch the Breakaway Club in August 2011 and it will soon be time to get booked up.
From Monday 13th June parents and guardians will be able to book places for young ones to join the Breakaway Club and take part in a range of activities based at either the Civic Hall in Bedworth or Nuneaton Town Community Foundation (Liberty Way).

The Breakaway Club is open to all residents of the Borough aged five – 13 years old and will take place over two sessions between 10am – 1pm and 2pm – 4pm.  There is a small charge of £1 per session and there will also be a number of optional trips taking place at an additional cost.  Lunchtime childcare and food can also be provided for a small extra cost.

The Breakaway Club promises fun times for all with sports, games, arts, crafts and more on the agenda and will run from 1st – 26th August.  The number to register on is 024 7637 6707.

Cllr Ian Lloyd, Portfolio Holder for Arts and Leisure, said:

“The Breakaway Club is coming and it will soon be time to book in.  Make sure you have the date in your diary to call us and guarantee your children a summer full of fun.  We will be accepting bookings from Monday 13th June and are expecting plenty of interest.”
