Graffiti cleansing suspended

Please note, the jet washer which removes graffiti across the Borough will not be in use as a result of the cold weather. The service will resume in the New Year. The decision was taken to protect the pipes that carry the water from freezing and ultimately cracking.

Therefore the removal of graffiti will not take place. However, any offensive graffiti reported over this period will be painted over and the cleansing team will go back in the New Year to remove it fully.

The Council will endeavour to keep on top of any graffiti reports that are received as normal. Once the frost has subsided to a manageable temperature a regular service will resume.
