Astley Book Farm is one of the largest second-hand book shops in the Midlands and won the CVOne Godiva Award for Best New Business in 2005. Situated on Arbury Estate, the birthplace of Victorian novelist George Eliot, Astley Book Farm is only 5 minutes from J3 of the M6. Renovated farm buildings currently house approximately 50,000 books on all subjects and include a children’s Hayloft.

Known as the Gothic Gem of the Midlands, this Elizabethan mansion was Gothicised by Sir Roger Newdegate in the 18th century. George Eliot was born on the estate in 1819. The Stables tea rooms provide visitors with a selection of cream teas, cakes and ice creams. Pre-bookable visits for groups; minimum 25. Corporate hospitality and private functions available.

Extensively refurbished in 2006, the Civic Hall is once more providing a wide variety of professional and amateur entertainment in this 760-seater multi purpose venue. The Heritage Centre is a grade II listed building that started its life being a free school founded by Lady Elizabeth Newdigate in 1735. The building was further extended by Sir Roger Newdigate in 1766. With a Victorian schoolroom and a designated 1880's parlour, the Centre is full of local history and various exhibitions run throughout the year. Function room up to 50.
