Rent Worries? Want to Discuss Arrears? Don't want to lose your Home? Contact the Housing Financial Inclusion Team (FIT)

We are a small specialist rent collection and advisory team based in Bedworth Area Office.
The Financial Inclusion Team can offer practical advice and guidance to ease tenants through the process of addressing their arrears to gain a clear rent account.

We know that tenants don't get in arrears by choice but for a variety of reasons some of them out of their control, such as job loss, illness or other bills for example. If you are in danger of not being able to pay your rent, don't wait until you miss a payment. FIT understands life’s personal and financial traumas and therefore offers a supportive, sympathetic, private and confidential ear.

Contact FIT on:  024 7637 6720 or email: income.recovery@nuneatonandbedworth.gov.uk   Monday - Friday 9.00 am to 5 pm.

We are happy to discuss:

  • Arrangements to pay your rent fortnightly, 4 weekly or monthly
  • Payment methods
  • How long it takes for your payment to reach your rent account
  • Garage rent payments or
  • Former tenant arrears

This list is by no means exhaustive.

FIT works very closely with NBBC Housing Benefit Office, Nuneaton and Bedworth Citizens Advice Bureau, Credit Unions and Localised Support Organisations such as Doorway, Chapter 1 and Bromford to name a few.

Please bear in mind non payment of rent is a breach of your tenancy agreement and can lead to possession of your home.
