Recycling

Recyclable Materials
All households across the Borough have a brown lid wheeled bin for recyclables, which includes a container insert.  Residents should place paper and cardboard into the container insert and all other recyclables should be placed loose into the brown lid bin.

Collections

  • We will collect your recyclables (brown lid bin) along with your garden waste (green bin) every two weeks.
  • You can check your collection dates by using the online Collection Search facility.
  • Please present your bin at the edge of your property by 7am on the day of your collection, and please ensure your bin is returned to your property within 24 hours.
  • Only recyclables should be placed into your brown lid bin.
  • If you have extra recycling you can leave this beside your bin on collection day, or take it to one of the many recycling bank sites around the Borough.  You can also request an additional recycling bin free of charge.
