The Green Garden Waste bins can only be filled with grass cuttings, hedge prunings, leaves, bark, plants, weeds and dead flowers.
Collections
- Collected Fortnightly between March to end of November (dates vary yearly) every fortnight detailed by a Calendar, which you will receive before the scheme starts to advise you of your collection days
- You can also use the online service from this page to find out when green bins will be collected from your street
- Please present your bin at the edge of your property by 7am on the day of your collection
- Only garden waste should be disposed of in your green bin
- Please ensure that all material is put in the bin loose, and not in bags
- You can also take excess green waste for composting to the Household Waste Recycling Centre at Tuttle Hill, Nuneaton

Home Woodchipping Service
If you would like to use Warwickshire County Council's Home Woodchipping Service this can be booked by telephoning 01926 738827. The service costs £20. The service will chip woody material up to 5” (13cm) diameter so that it can be used by the householder as a compost or weed suppressing mulch.
