Monitoring Reports
The Annual Monitoring Report (AMR) is a position statement setting out our monitoring strategy in relation to Local Development Framework (LDF) indicator requirements.
The purpose of the AMR, published annually, is to monitor the effectiveness of policies and proposals within the Local Plan or Development Plan Documents, and to monitor the extent to which targets are being met, including those set out in the Local Development Scheme.
The documents below consist of the AMRs produced for Nuneaton and Bedworth's Local Development Framework.
Demonstrating A Five Year Land Supply
The Government’s National Planning Policy Statement 3 'Housing' requires that Councils demonstrate a deliverable five year supply of housing land. The documents available for download below show how Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council can demonstrate a five year housing land supply between 2011 and 2016.
The 5 year land supply consists of sites in the housing pipeline, which includes dwellings currently under construction, those with full planning permission and those with outline planning permission.
The housing supply also consists of suitable, available, and achievable sites that have been identified within the Strategic Housing and Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA).
In accordance with PPS 3, all sites within the 5 year supply must be available for development, situated in a suitable location and achievable within 5 years and are therefore considered 'deliverable'. The SHLAA is thus also used to inform the 5 year land supply.
