The Council’s key aims and objectives relating to the Environmental Health Services Unit are to:-
- assess and analyse the environmental health problems of the borough
- monitor the environment regarding environmental health and allied matters
- enforce legislation concerned with environmental health and allied matters
- act as a source of information and expertise on the technical aspects of environmental health
