Bulkington Conservation Area
The Government, and its advisor English Heritage, have stressed the need for Conservation Areas to be managed positively and effectively.
In order to do this, an appraisal has been undertaken of the special architectural and historic interest of the Bulkington Conservation Area and its immediate surroundings. This appraisal has enabled an informed reconsideration of the Conservation Area and provided justifiable reasons for making alterations to it following public consultation.
At a meeting on the 12 November 2008 the Council adopted the Appraisal and Management Proposals.
