Payment Methods

Internet Payments
Payments can be made online. View the Payments Online section for a full list of the payments that can be made.

Direct Debits can be used to pay Council Tax, Business Rates and Housing Rents. They are the most cost effective and efficient way for people with bank (and most building society) accounts to pay.

For further information or a direct debit mandate please call the Billing Section on 024 7637 6534. For Housing Rents call the Contact Centre on 024 7637 6406.

Alternatively, contact us to request a mandate to be sent to you or download the form below.
For Council Tax or Business Rates you can chose from a due date of the 1st or 16th of each month. Payments will be taken monthly unless you request to pay your account in two six-monthly instalments or one annual instalment (both are payable in advance).
For Housing Rents and Garage Rents you can chose from 1st of each month, or friday of each week, both payable in advance. Please note if you are in receipt of Housing Benefit you can only pay by weekly direct debit. You can either request a direct debit mandate or download the Housing Mandate below.
